Electric Pedal Platform
An electrically height-adjustable pedal platform developed for use together with Rini’s electric Carl surgical chairs. The platform enables precise adjustment of working height without compromising access to foot controls, stability, or safety.
The solution has evolved from needs identified within surgery, where high seating positions combined with requirements for pedal access place specific ergonomic demands. Development has taken place in close dialogue with neurosurgeons.

The pedal platform enables optimal placement of microscope pedals or other foot controls required for each procedure. The electric height adjustment supports a neutral and ergonomic sitting posture, even at high seating positions and during longer procedures.
The platform can be integrated with previously delivered electrical surgical chairs, either connected to the chair or as a standalone unit. Smooth-rolling wheels and simple, tool-free connection between platform and chair make it easy to adapt the solution according to specific needs.
The platform is designed with smooth, easy-to-clean surfaces and enclosed details to meet the requirements of an operating room environment.
The result is a stable, safe, and reliable solution designed for the demanding operating room environment.
